Welcome to all the participants in the Carer’s Weekend being hosted by the college over the August Bank Holiday Weekend!

Get away from it all with a good book

Participants can avail of a variety of  facilitated workshops ranging from yoga to basic computer skills.  Here in the library participants will have the chance to spend time relaxing in our beautiful surroundings , get  tips on reading for relaxation, get reading  recommendations,  see firsthand what reading on the Kindle ereader  is like,  or just socialize and chat  about books in general .

We have also gathered a collection of fiction books for the participants to enjoy here in the library and take home with them if they wish.  The books were generously donated by college staff to show their appreciation for the invaluable service provided by this dedicated group of home carers.

Looking for something to read over the summer holidays?

Don’t forget that we have a small collection of fiction for you to borrow!  Featuring both popular fiction and literary award winners.

Search the library catalogue for titles, or just come on over and browse….
